Attend Systems — Documentation Overview

Our Data Center Infrastructure Management and Security System is an innovative, integrated system of hardware and software technologies. The systems is accessed through a Web-based management console running in your browser, the Attend InfraManager (AIM). Whether we host and deliver AIM or you prefer a virtual appliance hosted by you behind your firewall, you will enjoy the same benefits of software provided as a service (SaaS).Through this SaaS design and by using tested and proven technologies, AIM provides continuous two-way communication between electronic tags affixed to your data center assets and your browser. The AIM technology is protected by US Patent 8,094,020.

System Components

• AIM Controller — Monitors up to sixteen server racks
• Electronic ID Tags — One for each IT asset
• Data Link — Connects ID Tags to the AIM Controller
• AIM Management Console — Software-as-a-Service
• Attend Systems/Virtual Appliance — Hosted System Infrastructure and Database

System Requirements

• Ethernet connection
• Handheld data collection device— Laptop or other browser-enabled input device
• Standard web browser
• Internet access (Cloud hosting) or IP based Intranet (internal hosting/virtual appliance)
• Open or closed server racks, from half racks to 54+ units.
