Noah Groth, CEO
Noah co-founded Attend Systems in 2008. As CEO, Noah is responsible for managing and executing the strategic direction for the company. Noah has more than thirty years of successful, entrepreneurial leadership and experience in computer security, software development and information technology.
Most recently, Noah was the founder and chairman at GuardianEdge Technologies, Inc. (formerly PC Guardian Technologies). GuardianEdge, a world-wide leader in enterprise data protection and encryption software solutions, was acquired by Symantec for $70 million in 2010.
Noah’s entrepreneurial career began when he founded PC Guardian in 1984. Under his direction, PC Guardian became a world-wide provider of physical computer security solutions to large enterprises. In 1993, Noah co-founded PC Guardian Technologies to address the growing need for software data protection solutions. He served as president and CEO of PC Guardian and PC Guardian Technologies from 1984 to 2005. In 2005, Noah successfully raised venture financing for PC Guardian Technologies, which then became GuardianEdge Technologies. He served as CEO, CTO and chairman at GuardianEdge prior to its acquisition by Symantec.
Mr. Groth holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Tennessee, and is a California Certified Public Accountant.
Krassimir Boyadjiev, CTO
As the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Attend Systems, Krassimir is responsible for all software architectural design and development for Attend Systems’ products and services. Krassimir has over 20 years of experience designing, developing and implementing enterprise software, with 15 years focused on computer security and data protection.
Prior to co-founding Attend Systems, Krassimir was vice president of software development at PC Guardian Technologies, later GuardianEdge. In this capacity, Krassimir formulated the architectural vision as well as the design and development of GuardianEdge’s flagship products for protecting data on hard drives and removable storage devices. Prior to his tenure at GuardianEdge, he led a number of pioneering software development projects at Zycad and InterContinental Software, including implementation of an innovative model for development outsourcing.
Krassimir received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Technical University in Sofia, Bulgaria. Krassimir also holds an Masters in Computer Science with Honors from the Technical University in Kiev, Ukraine.
Ann Laurenson, COO
As Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Attend Systems, Ann is responsible for worldwide business operations, including corporate strategy, finance, HR, facilities, and manufacturing. Ann has over 25 years of successful corporate leadership experience in technology and computer security, specializing in strategy execution, organizational growth and business development.
Prior to Attend Systems, Ann was co-founder of PC Guardian and PC Guardian Technologies (later GuardianEdge Technologies). At PC Guardian, she served as senior vice president from 1985-2005, then president and CEO from 2005 -2009. During her tenure, PC Guardian became a leader in physical computer security solutions, with over 45 million devices sold worldwide. In 2009, Ann oversaw the acquisition of PC Guardian’s patents and intellectual property by Acco Brands. She was senior vice president of PC Guardian Technologies from 1993-2005. In this capacity, Ann had executive management responsibility for sales, marketing, legal, finance and operations. She also served on the board of GuardianEdge Technologies.
Ann received a BA from Scripps College.
Jan P. Warhuus, CMO
As Chief Marketing Officer and co-founder of Attend Systems, Jan is responsible for sales, marketing, brand and product strategy and execution for Attend Systems; including business development, product management, and driving awareness of the company’s cloud-based data center Asset Management System (AMS) and adoption of its SaaS and subscription based model. Jan brings 20 years of growth management, finance, business development, and strategic planning expertise to the company.
Prior to Attend Systems, Jan was vice president of business development for GuardianEdge Technologies, Inc. (bought by Symantec), a leader in end-point data protection for the enterprise. There, he was responsible for technology alliances, OEM partnerships and acquisition of software technologies. Jan also held management positions at PC Guardian and PC Guardian Technologies from 1999 to 2005 in business development, finance and research. He has served on the faculty of Aarhus School of Business and University of Southern Denmark from 1991 to 2000. Earlier in his career, Jan held commercial and investment banking positions at Aktivbanken (bought by Sydbank) and Kronjylland S&L.
Jan received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Southern Denmark. He holds an M.S. in Finance and International Management and a B.S. in Economics from the Aarhus School of Business, Aarhus University.
